Clay pot

Just recently we bought some (more) potter's clay. I made this pot with the clay. It was great fun playing with the clay. :P
Thankfully, I didn't use any water(except a few drops I used to smooth it in the end) and so it didn't crack after drying.

    Nice work Zainab! I love the shape you chose and the vibrant colours too! Making clay pots is a super fun thing to do. :D
    Yeah I've also noticed when you use water it makes the clay crack! But then if you're not fast without water the clay dries right? xD

    Thanks! Yeah, it's really fun to make things with clay(and goof around with it XD)
    Yeah, that often happens if the clay is not soft enough(it is advised to keep it covered with a damp cloth). And if you knead and soften the clay with water it often cracks after drying. I've figured out it's best to smoothe pots with damp fingers after they are made. That way they don't crack.
