A recent Sketch
I recently did this sketch. After all those fists I drew lately in a poster I didn't draw any more 'hands'. I completed this on Tuesday. This is a 'V' sign, or, more commonly known as 'victory' sign.
I had a lot of fun doing it , especially the background hatching ( I learnt this technique in the book, 'Drawing Media') which I did with a blunt HB and a 2B pencil.

You're getting really good at drawing hands! (I'm doomed to fail at them! XD) I love the background hatching! And I haven't heard of that term before, although I know that artists do it a lot... I might use it - thanks for sharing that! :D
ReplyDeleteHatching is like drawing lines in different directions.(Vertical lines, horizontal, and slanted). It's all about pencil strokes.
DeleteMine is awful, but could've been better If I had bothered to sharp my pencils before!! XD So like me!
Awesome! In fact I did that for my Inktober drawings, but I didn't know the term! XD Pffft, yours is not awful, it's great! I wouldn't have commented on it otherwise! :D LOL yes, that's me all the time! Sometimes I'm too lazy to sharpen them when they all go blunt. XD
