Zainab's Art Adventures

This is the canvas I recently painted. I just love it! I really want to get it framed, but it hasn't been framed yet, so I added this frame myself on computer :P

I attended this workshop at  L2L Academy  in October, 2015, where we learnt how to do dot art with both ink and pencil. Here is the stuff I drew with dots. First we learnt to draw basic shapes and shade them with dots instead of pencil strokes  My Name in dots! I sketched this trophy.  We made A Gradient or Shade Palate with ink to understand thickness and density of dots I traced this picture with dots  

You may call these graffiti, or typography, or anything, but I call them my fonts. These fonts are a style of writing I have developed not long ago. The real inspiration were the cool fonts at  dafont . I also learnt how to make the letter 's' another way, and so my first font, sunny fun, was created. I recently tried drawing Elsa and Anna! It was real fun, but the drawings are totally weird. In both Elsa and Anna, the lips are really bad, and Elsa's hands and Anna's eyes are just awful. You might think Elsa looks better than Anna, but then Anna was more difficult to draw. Anna'a clothes are(I think!) perfect, because I had the exact shades. These are  just  awful! Some say I'm good at drawing people. I decided to post a tutorial for those who want to learn how to make better figures. If you want to draw a self portrait, it is best to use a mirror. A photo would do too. If you want to draw someone else or a character of a movie, use a photo or image for reference.  Get people to pose for you so you can draw them.(though most people are reluctant when you ask them to pose for you so it's better to sneak up with your sketch pad when nobody's looking!) I usually draw on white paper on my sketch pad. Whatever you do, make sure your drawings are compiled so don't use loose pages. Start with a notebook and a black pointer. 1.Make the face, and the beginning of the neck. Recently, I got a little sketch pad. I love to draw in it, and others love to look at those sketches. They say my drawings are masterpieces. I don't think so. The ERDC  Seminar,  'Who Fails when a child Fails?' ,  took place on August 01, 2015.  My sister and I also made posters for the Poster Exhibition. Here are the two I made.

My cousin requested me to do a drawing of a car for her to color in. I drew this car by copying from one of those little dinkies my brother has.
