'Graphic designing': flyers I made lately

I'm not much of a graphic designer, but I had to do a lot of it lately, both for my Dad's organization ERDC(http://erdconline.org/) and for me and my siblings' startup, Clayholds (https://clayholds.blogspot.com/).  Here are some flyers I made recently. All of these are made on canva.com, an online design software we discovered not too long ago.

I made this one back in June, I think, when
ERDC got its branch office in PECHS
relocated
A flyer for a workshop

This was a flyer someone made for a workshop
@ ERDC, 'Clubs instead of Classrooms'.
When I was asked for feedback, I suggested
un-bolding some of the text, using a better font
for the workshop title, and reducing the overall
font size to create more breathing space and
overcome the congested look.

a flyer I made  for that same workshop(it wasn't
accepted, so I didn't complete it :/(ignore the
text, okay?))

here's what the flyer became after my suggestions -
I don't think it looks too good (better, not
great) but my father was more than satisfied
with it. :)

A flyer for a talk on the educationist, John
Holt

We also needed a promotional poster of some sort for our startup, Clayholds. This was the first one I made:
it received too many objections from my siblings - they especially
objected to the fact that it was in landscape view - posters were
meant to be vertical! they said - so I made another one(once again,
ignore the text, it's dummy):

This one was agreed upon

the inspiration for the one on the left XD
(I found this template on canva.com)

OPTION 2 (most people liked OPTION 1,
though)
A poster for an event we are currently
planning - OPTION 1

this is a flyer I made for an art club I'm
thinking of starting (again, ignore the text)

  1. Wow these posters look so professional! The designs and layouts are super catchy!
I really like your edits to the "clubs instead of classrooms" one. The chalkboard-like font you chose and the picture really give that educational feeling to them.
As for the first Clayholds poster you made, I think it looks quite original on the contrary! It's interesting because you included a picture of an item from the Clayholds store. I suppose portrait might be a more preferable format though! ^^ Also this is only a suggestion (!) but maybe you might want to consider including a picture of your designs to give the viewer an idea of the crafts you make at Clayholds? :)
Ooh I adore the Pottery and Poetry posters! They're both so fantastic I can't possibly choose a favourite! And about the event, it's intriguing that you're combining pottery and poetry together - I would have never thought of that. xD
How did the workshops go? :D

    1. Hey thanks(and I'm sorry for the late reply)!
The idea for the pottery and poetry event idea was just a coincidence - we meant to hold an event for Clayholds and we were discussing how we often read or sing poetry to each other while making pots and the name for it just came out of nowhere. xD(we haven't held it yet, but mean to do it sometime soon.)
The workshops went great, but I didn't get a chance to attend all of them. :)
