This is so beautiful Zainab!! I love the purple colour scheme you chose (purple is my favourite colour! xD) and the way you blended the background fairly so as not to distract the attention from the tree! And gosh the tree is gorgeous! I love the silhouette and how you chose to depict the blossom with dots! :D What really stands out nicely is that you've focused on a strict colour theme here and it does a lovely job of drawing attention to the subject! Did something inspire you to paint this or was it purely from your imagination? You're so skilled with using watercolours, btw, I always love your watercolour paintings - they're so imaginative! <3 And speaking of which it would be wonderful if you could share some of your watercolour painting tips since you're so talented at it I feel I really need to improve in that domain! xD Watercolours are really hard to get the hang of since you can only build up on it but not erase. ^^' Keep up the beautiful work Zainab!! (Gosh I'm SO sorry for the super late comment btw, I've been extremely busy with my exams so I've been having to draw back from Blogger a bit, I hope you understand! D: But I definitely will get to all of your amazing posts soon and I'm loving what you've been sharing! :D)
Ahh I love your new blog format too!! It fits nicely with the theme of art. Also that quote is really interesting! It's so true that we have to push the limits and discover more even if it means we may risk ruining our artwork - it's good to think about! :D
Thank you so much, Kenza! Do you really think I am very talented with watercolours? At least I don't think I am! I understand you have been busy with your exams and I agree that it is extremely difficult to stay active on Blogger with exams looming ahead. :( Thank you! I like the background of this blog too- I made it myself on Sketch pad.(https://sketch.io/sketchpad/)
You're most welcome! Absolutely, I love all of your watercolour paintings (and I do remember the ones from the past)! Ahh thank you, I'm back now though, finally! xD Are you on holiday now by any chance? Oh my, it looks amazing, I love the brushes you used! And I just checked out the app now - I was surprised to find that it even has layers (usually you'd only find that in a downloaded art program). It seems quite professional! :D
Awesome :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! :D
DeleteI like the soft colours of the sky and the way that you've created an impression of the leaves using dots! :)

Thank you! The dots have been created using cotton buds
