Dazzling new slab pot



This is a mix-media pot. I used clay, water, poster paints, acrylic paints, white glue, UHU, gold nail polish(and its remover) in the making of this pot.


Can you guess how????

    Whoa! This design is amazing! 8D I love the spiral and the decor around the top of the pot! This is gold! Brilliant colour choice too. I wish I could make pots as good as this. xD

    I'm guessing you mixed the clay and water together, then used the poster paints/acrylic paints for a base colour. Then you must've glued it together? xD I'm not sure what UHU is sorry! D: And gold nail polish/its remover for the gold spiral and the gold bits on top. How correct am I? xD

      I did use the clay and water to make the pot, then painted it, but it broke(I didn't score the sides properly like I should have done D:)so I coated the crack with the glues (UHU is basically an all-purpose adhesive. It is, as a matter of fact, my favorite glue;I love its smell and its usefulness XD)
      And you are correct about the last bit, I did use the nail polish and the remover for decorating the pot. Me and my sis mostly use nail polish for art. XD

      You love it's smell. Wow, Zainab. I don't actually like UHU because it does NOT stick well. But I use it for paper-crafts.
